Reiki is a gentle form of energy healing which works by channelling healing energy through the healer to the recipient. Reiki is the Japanese translation of "universal life force energy" (Rei - ki). Reiki healing works by clearing blockages in the body's energy system helping the client to experience healing on an emotional, spiritual and physical level. The power of this form of healing can have a very profound effect as it works to heal and cleanse our energy system almost like a spring cleaning session for the body, mind and soul! Reiki is used for a wide range of conditions and works exceptionally for those suffering from depression, anxiety, fatigue, grief and bereavement, sadness, muscular pain and arthiritis, as well as many other conditions. Pam uses the Usui method of reiki healing named after the Japanese monk Mikao Usui who discovered the power of reiki during his pilgrimage to Mount Karina in the 1800's. Since its introduction to the West, Reiki has grown in popularity and is now widely recognised as an effective form of therapy for many emotional and physical conditions.
